They have just minutes to issue Tsunami warning

During the first 5 minutes of a Tsunami, the scientists cannot not do anything but wait for information on the wave. After they get the information on it they have to decide whether to issue a warning  or not. The scientists have very little time to make decisions. If they see something that could fit there criteria they have to follow it.  It is a very high pressure job.
